Ross Ahmed
BSc
Dan joined E3 Ecology in 2026 after completing his BSc (Hons) in Zoology at the University of Nottingham. During his studies, he developed a strong foundation in ecological fieldwork, gaining in a range of survey methods and ecological monitoring techniques.
Prior to joining E3 Ecology, Dan worked as a Shorebird and Engagement Ranger with Natural England at Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve. In this role, he monitored and managed breeding populations of protected shorebird species, established and maintained exclusion zones to safeguard nesting Ringed Plover and Little Tern colonies, and contributed to the reserve’s annual breeding bird report.
