Rachel Adams BSc
Rachel joined E3 Ecology in 2025 following the completion of her BSc in Ecology and Conservation from St Andrews University, where she developed a strong foundation in environmental impact assessments, conservation methods and wildlife management, invasive species and ecological monitoring techniques. During her studies, Rachel contributed to a variety of fieldwork projects, including a long-term grazing research and monitoring project, where a combination of trapping, bird, invertebrate and plant surveys were utilised to monitor habitats. She has also worked on projects focused on monitoring the health of freshwater and intertidal areas in both Scotland and Wales. These projects involved data analysis, mapping with qgis and creating reports.
In a previous role, Rachel worked on habitat creation, restoration and enhancement projects, including managing wildflower grassland meadows and tree enhancement measures. Since joining E3, Rachel has participated in various protected species surveys, ecological appraisals and biodiversity net gain assessments.
