Georgie Vessey BSc

Georgie graduated from the University of Manchester with a BSc (Hons) in Biology with Industrial Experience, spending a year teaching at the Field Studies Council Kindrogan Field Centre in Perthshire and was short-listed for the UK National Biodiversity Network awards.  She also spent 6 months teaching in Shenzhen and travelling in China.  She has a broad range of consultancy experience including botany, reptile, dormouse, great crested newt and bat surveys.  Georgie is particularly interested in botany and ornithology, and assisted Chichester Harbour Conservancy with wetland bird surveys, identified marine birds and mammals from aerial images for APEM Marine division assessing potential off-shore wind turbine sites and worked for Acres Wild Woodland & the Forestry Commission surveying trees in London as a plant health surveyor.
